This policy explains what personal data lawoftheland.co collects and how we use it, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email address and message when you use our contact form or join the community waitlist, and the role you select.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
- Preferences: if you choose dark or light mode, that choice is stored in your own browser. It isn't sent to us.
How we use it
- To reply to your message.
- To tell you when the community launches, if you joined the waitlist.
- To keep the website secure and understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.
We don't sell your personal data. We don't use it for any purpose you haven't consented to.
Who processes it
Form submissions are processed by our form provider (Web3Forms), which delivers them to us by email and acts as our data processor. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process technical data to deliver and protect the site. If we add analytics or advertising in future, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to deal with them, and waitlist details until the community launches or you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Use our contact form and choose "Something else". We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
